About Me

I grew up in a small town that some say, "you have to pipe sunshine in". Snuggle in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I have enjoyed traveling and seeing new scenery. I've always loved to capture a moment, in a snap of a picture. I love to carry a camera with me wherever I go, always on the lookout for interesting subjects and compositions. My eyes are becoming finely attuned to the play of light and shadow, and I'm beginning to appreciate the small details that make a big difference in a photograph.  So many people have commented and supported my photography along the way, that I thought it was time to share it with the world.

As a new photographer, I am on a thrilling journey of discovery and creativity. My enthusiasm for capturing moments and scenes is palpable. I'm eager to learn the technical aspects of photography, such as mastering exposure settings and composition, and I'm not afraid to experiment and make mistakes along the way.

My personal favorites are catching glimpses of what are around me and things that I experience through my eyes'. From anything nature, to the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains, to breathtaking sunsets. I hope you enjoy my photos just as much as I enjoyed taking them.
